Cette contribution explore les voies actuelles du roman africain francophone. Des paramètres novateurs induisent une évaluation des angles d’écriture et des perspectives de lecture. Des lignes de force spécifient une identité esthétique dominante, originale ou naissante. Les romanciers définissent des stratégies narratives, des thématiques innovantes, des formats énonciatifs, des options discursives hégémoniques, des paris inventifs avec un fort coefficient prospectiviste. La fiction est adossée aux avatars de l’Histoire marquée par la disjonction des intelligences et la ruine des évidences. Les postures lectorales et les figures auctoriales inédites informent un plurivers en tension et des enjeux idéologiques majeurs. Les écrivains inventent surtout l’Afrique du futur. La mise en fiction de l’Afrique de demain est logée en définitive dans l’enseigne du déni rituel des races dites supérieures. L’exercice s’applique sur la scène du texte selon une projection au cœur d’un espace-temps possibilisable. Les récits sont marqués par l’addiction technologique, l’inflation de la science-fiction, la montée de l’industrie numérique et les fulgurances de l’Intelligence Artificielle.

Abstract:

This contribution explores the current paths of the French-speaking African novel. New parameters induce a sharp evaluation of reading perspectives, writing angles, and the main lines of scriptural identity. Novelists define aesthetic strategies, innovative themes, enunciative formats, hegemonic discursive options, inventive bets with a strong prospective coefficient that they support with the avatars of History in the midst of a disjunction between intelligences and evidence. Reading postures and new authorial figures inform a pluriverse in tension and ideological stakes through the prism of which writers, whether African or Afro-descendant, invent the Africa of the future on the stage of the text. The fictionalization of the Africa of tomorrow is ultimately lodged in the orbit of the ritual denial of the dominant races according to a projection at the heart of a possible space-time marked by technological inflation, addiction to science fiction, attachment to the digital industry and the comfort of Artificial Intelligence.
